Ex lifetime tracking (ExLT)

All Ex installations and Ex documentations shall comply lifetime long with requirements of own Ex certifications, site requirements. Identification of assets and documentations shall be a good basis ExLT. For identification of assets we do recommend to use our RFID technology.

Zitat: The ATEX Directive / IECEx Scheme and related standards like EN (IEC) 60079 and ISO 80079 define the mandatory lifetime tracking, for the total lifetime of one installation being installed in a possible hazardous area is Ex proof. Ex proof means each installation has to be identified.

ExRFID SA1 tag makes it happen in a cost effective way for longterm operation. Passive RFID tag Simple apparatus according to IEC 60079-14 Applicable hazardous area classification Zone 1 IIC T6 / Zone 21 IIIC 85°C an ambient temperature Tamb 40°C Zone 1 IIC T5 / Zone 21 IIIC 100°C at an ambient temperature Tamb 60°C

Identification of any installation in possible hazardous areas.

The ExRFID SA1 has to be installed on each device operated in possible hazardous areas, you need to read it out and then in a database (sheets of maintainance, repair and inspections) it has to managed. Possible hardware: tablet, smart phone, RFID reader, or any xls database or dedicated software (E.g: EPDS).
